The first result of the project is a survey, developed by the partnership to investigate the status, the potentialities and overall the perception of the tangible and intangible heratige in each local community.

The second result is the development and piloting of training tools and activities to engage local community in the active process of preservation and promotion of cultural and natural heritage. These activities aimed to develop specific training activities for adult target using local heritage as a tool.

The third result concers activities for the promotion of values of the Faro Covention. We met local community, public administrators, other cultural NGOs to show them the importance of the Faro Covention, using official documents provided by the Council of Europe.

RED LISTS OF HERITAGE SITES IN DANGER

As announced in the application form, each partner, after the collection of data from the survey, elaborate a RED LIST OF HERITAGE SITES IN DANGER. This list has been shered among the local community during the various meetings. Each partner gave the RED LIST to the Cultural Department of the Municipality. In some cases there were dedicated meetings and events to rise awarness on the subject with the final aim to engage the local communities and spread the feeling of active citizenship.

POMODORAIA EX-POMODORAIA
A short movie realized by the Italian partner Italia Nostra Sez. Castiglione del Lago. The movie shows an abandoned area, located in the old industrial heart of the town during the last century. Pomodoraia represents a not only an industrial bu also cultural and social, becoming part of the heritage of the town and of the community. With local inhabitants we realized this short movie to sensitize the community on the importance and historical value of this place.

3D RECONSTRUCTION ORTI DI MECENATE

Orti di Mecenate: a 3D reconstruction of the ancient renaissance palace and gardens of Castiglione del Lago. Material and research realized in collaboration with Dott. Archeologist Walter Pagnotta.
This production has been presented in occasion of the European Heritage Days 2024 in Castiglione del Lago.

PODCASTS

For the development of the podcasts, we asked our learners to collect information about the history, natural and cultural heritage of their own town. They visited the places, interviewed responsible of the heritage sites and local inhabitants. After the collection of the information, we met to organize the material and then they wrote the scripts for the podcasts. After that we provided them a training on the use of AI for heritage products, like creation of videos and podcasts. We used Jellypods platform to crate the podcasts and the software GarageBand to edit them. Here are the results of this wonderful works.
